Are you having a gift shop in your resort?
How often do you talk about the items that are on sale?
So,here's a quick way to bring variety to the posts on Instagram or on Facebook. If you can take cool pics of the latest trinket that you go at your store, then you can very well brag about it or tell a story around it.
What I have seen is that gift shops in resort hardly attract guest. Some people stray inside, and most people ignore it. One reason is that no one in the resort tells guests about it, or the goodies are that unique that gets a word of mouth.
